Alone, isolated, and facing the prospect of growing old and dying without another human voice, Jim falls into despair. After a year of solitude, he faces an impossible moral dilemma: wake up a beautiful fellow passenger, Aurora Lane (Jennifer Lawrence), because he has fallen in love with her biography, or die alone.
