Finally, the initiation culminates in the Sunday Eucharist, celebrated within the community. In the Neocatechumenal Way, the Mass is not a passive spectacle. After the homily, there is a moment of spontaneous prayer —the faithful speak aloud their petitions. The sign of peace is prolonged and fraternal.
