Delete your old FrostyModManager.exe.config file. It is no longer needed. Step 2: Download Frosty Mod Manager v1.0.6.1b (FIFA 18 Edition) from the official GitHub repository (link in our Discord). Step 3: Extract the folder to a new location (e.g., C:\Games\Frosty_FIFA18 ). Do not put it in Program Files. Step 4: Run FrostyModManager.exe as Administrator. Step 5: Select your FIFA18.exe (Origin or EA App version). Step 6: Launch the game.
The fix is a significant relief for the modding community, as it ensures the continued functionality of Frosty Mod Manager. Modders can now breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that their creations will once again be compatible with the software.
Do use old versions (1.0.5.9 or earlier) for FIFA 18 with the latest EA patch — they will fail with an encryption key error.
