"We were a group of friends who wanted to relive the joy of playing kickball as kids," explains Emily Chen, a core organizer of the Hipster Kickball 2021 movement. "But we also wanted to create an environment that was welcoming, inclusive, and reflective of our adult values. We wanted to bring people together, foster new friendships, and – of course – have a killer time." Several new entities emerged to maintain the culture:

We offer upgrades from a lower edition (e.g., Lite) to a higher edition (e.g., Full) by paying the price difference between what you originally paid and the current price of the higher edition of eligible product series.
