One day, Elene decided to attend the city’s grand Spring Gala. She didn't have money for the expensive boutiques on Rustaveli Avenue, so she took an old, oversized silk shirt from her father and a few scraps of lace from her grandmother's sewing kit. She spent three nights stitching, dyeing, and reimagining the fabric.
