One anonymous user released a patch for Sangokushi VIII that translated roughly 40% of the game. Menus, most battle commands, and the main strategy phase were in English. However, event dialogues, officer creation, and the "Tutorial" remained in Japanese. The patch also had a critical bug: on certain PSP models (specifically the PSP-2000 and Vita Adrenaline), the game would freeze whenever a "Spouse Event" triggered.
