Hardcore users can use a TTL serial adapter to connect to the L3256’s mainboard and manually edit the EEPROM. This requires soldering and hex editing – not recommended for 99% of users.

Some L3256 models come with a replaceable (part number T04D1). But simply swapping the box does not reset the counter. You must run the Adjustment Program to register the new box. Initialize Reset : Re-check those boxes and click
