Some older DK 9830 models have internal dip switches. Remove the back cover (requires a small Phillips screwdriver) and locate the 4-pin dip switch. Move the switch labeled "Init" or "Reset" to the "ON" position, power on for 5 seconds, power off, then move it back to "OFF." This resets the admin password only (preserving users on rare models, but do not rely on this).

The keypad is now in programming mode. You can set a new Master Code using the 0 + [New Code] + # command. Move the jumper back to the OFF position.
